A $ 100000 investment in Pubrai Investment Fund at inception ( on July 1,1999) is worth $889000 till 2015. Whereas that same amount invested in DJIA Index is worth only $234000 (assuming dividend were reinvested).
Prior to the fund, Mohnish worked for Tellabs , a telecom company , and late founded TransTech Inc. an IT consulting company. He is the author of the book : The Dhandho Investor “. His best investment ever was the $ 650,100 he paid for lunch with Warren Buffett.
He is a classic value investor following the footsteps of great value investors like Warren Buffett and Joel Greenblatt.
