Congratulations Team West Indies a new World T20 champions.

A great lesson learn from West Indies team performance in World T20 . When team came to participate in World T20 Tournament they did not even have jerseys. Post-match presentation team captain Mr.Darren Sammy described their situation:-

“People were wondering we would play this tournament, we had issues with the board, Mark Nicholas called us players with no brain. But all of us came together, these 15 men put adversity aside, play this type of cricket in front of such passionate fans. It was tremendous. I want to thank the coaching team, Phil Simmons”.
“Really happy for this win, it’s something we’ll cherish for a long time. We have a few match winners, nobody give us a chance, every game somebody stepped up – good to see Carlos play like that in his debut World Cup”.
“We had a new manager in this tournament in Rawl Lewis. He was doing the job for the first time. He came to Dubai and we know what he did so that we get the jerseys. We did not have the jerseys. Got to give credit to the entire team here. This is for all the fans in the Caribbean. President Mitchell (Keith Mitchell, President of Grenada) send us a inspiring message”.
“I don’t know when I’m going to be playing for West Indies again, I want to thank my team, thanks my coaching staff. This is for the CHAMPIONS”.

Their efforts shows a pure Dhandho Investor approach, “Heads, I win ; tails , I don’t lose much!
Their situation is totally related to “Low risk, High uncertainty which leads to high rewards”. In a book titled The Dhandho investor a great investor Mr. Mohnish Pabrai describes that

Their situation is also similar to ‘Dhandho Investors’. Because they knew that they are not having much to loose but if they gain that will be huge reward and they did the same thing. They played like that this will be their last World Cup. As captain Sammy said they are having team of 15 champions. Their courage has brought them together and perform their best to attain this objective and proved “Heads, I win ; tails , I don’t lose much”.
