Intelligent Fanatic  : Sabu Jacob

Mr.Sabu runs one the most profitable infant garment manufacturing companies in the world called Kitex Garments which sells garments to giants like Carter’s, Gerber, ToysRUs, Wal-Mart, Jockey,Mother Care, and The Children’s Place.

He has been Managing Director of Kitex Garments Ltd. since August 16, 2006 and has been its Chief Financial Officer since January 25, 2016. Mr. Jacob serves as the Chairman of Kitex Garments Ltd. He has 25 years experience and previously served as an Executive Director of Kitex Ltd. He holds B.A. Economics degree. He belongs to a family of entrepreneurs who have promoted many industrial units for producing textiles, garment, vessels, spices, umbrellas, school bags etc.

From 25-09-2012 to 02-02-2017 his company has compounded the money for his shareholders at 57.42% compared to Nifty which compounded only at 10.4%.

Kitex was selected for the “Best under A Billion” Award by the Editors of Forbes Media LLC for 2015 from the 200-odd companies in the Asia Pacific region. Also, Mr. Jacob was among the 19 entrepreneurs selected for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2015. In January 2016, Kitex was presented the “JOCKEY Debra S Waller Award for Great Partnership 2015”.
